Rural cities and counties often have viable projects but limited staff capacity to move them from concept to implementation. The Rural City-County Resource Network (RCRN) provides targeted support to help local jurisdictions advance priority housing, infrastructure, and community development efforts—particularly when projects are stalled due to technical, planning, or early-stage funding constraints.

iSector identifies and engages the appropriate technical partners to address those gaps, coordinating cost-free assistance tailored to your project and community context.
3. We Build Local Capacity
We provide hands-on support that supplements local capacity and helps advance projects toward implementation, funding readiness, or next-phase decision-making.

HOW IT STARTED –
Northwest Rural Investment Strategy (NWRIS)
Through a series of regional NWRIS Summits, iSector convened rural communities, public agencies, funders, and technical experts to examine why critical projects stall before implementation. The findings revealed consistent gaps in staffing capacity, technical expertise, and access to early-stage resources—insights that directly shaped the structure and purpose of the Rural City-County Resource Network.
