For the past few years, the Northwest Rural Investment Strategy Summits (NWRISS) – hosted by Oregon iSector and Partners for Rural Washington – have brought rural leaders together at Skamania Lodge to share priorities, explore solutions, and connect with state and federal partners.
In 2025, in place of a NWRISS Skamania gathering, Oregon iSector has partnered with Business Oregon and the Northwest Environmental Business Council (NEBC) to host a new Rural Communities Track within the annual Oregon Infrastructure Summit.
đź“…Â Date: September 8-9, 2025
📍 Location: Seaside Convention Center, Seaside, OR

2. Rural Community Resource Center – An emerging model to help local governments plan, fund, and deliver priority projects despite limited staffing and resources.Â
3. Looking to the Future of Rural Communities – A discussion with federal leaders from USDA Rural Development, EDA, and HUD on funding, priorities, and strategies for long-term rural sustainability and prosperity.Â
